Adria Arjona stars in acclaimed sci-fi film and joins DC Universe

Actress Adria Arjona is garnering attention for two upcoming film projects. Her new science fiction action film, ‘Onslaught’, directed by Adam Wingard and produced by A24, has earned an 81% score on Rotten Tomatoes from critics. The film follows an army sniper, played by Arjona, who must defend her family from escaped super soldiers. It is scheduled for theatrical release on September 4, 2026.

Additionally, Arjona has joined the DC Universe under the leadership of James Gunn and Peter Safran. While she has not yet revealed her specific character for the upcoming ‘Man of Tomorrow’ project, she expressed that working with Gunn and Safran provides a sense of familiarity and trust, stemming from their previous collaboration on ‘The Belko Experiment’.
