Adrian Ayala arrested for alleged home invasion and assault in Arizona

Adrian Ayala, 20, was arrested following an alleged home invasion and assault in Buckeye, Arizona. The victim, Bella Torres, reported that the encounter began when the suspect approached her door asking to use the restroom before charging at her and grabbing her neck.

Torres alleges that Ayala forced her to the ground, kicked her one-year-old daughter, and demanded she remove her clothing. Security camera footage captured portions of the struggle, including Torres shouting during the confrontation. During the incident, the suspect reportedly claimed he was on drugs and suggested that Torres’s partner had arranged the encounter for a consensual role-play scenario.

Ayala’s attorney presented this role-play claim as a defense during the arraignment, but the judge rejected the argument, stating it did not constitute a valid legal defense. Ayala was released on a $25,000 secured appearance bond and is scheduled to return to court later this week.
