Adrian Mateos wins Poker Masters ranking title

Spanish poker player Adrian Mateos has secured the Poker Masters ranking title, earning the iconic Purple Jacket. Despite facing five unsuccessful attempts to reach the money during the series in Las Vegas, Mateos finished at the top of the leaderboard with 451 points.

Mateos' victory was confirmed during the final event of the series. His closest competitor, Jeremy Ausmus, required at least a second-place finish in the final tournament to overtake Mateos, but Ausmus finished in fourth place. This result ensured Mateos maintained his lead over other contenders including Nick Palma and Nick Seward.

The achievement follows a highly successful year for Mateos, who has cashed nearly $16 million in live tournaments, including a significant win at the Triton Invitational in Montenegro.
