Adrian Rzeźnik secures Polish rally championship title
Adrian Rzeźnik, the 19-year-old driver for Orlen Team, has become the youngest rally champion in Polish history. Rzeźnik and co-driver Kamil Kozdroń secured the title during the 70th Rajd Wisły, the final round of the Polish Rally Championship (RSMP).
After maintaining a significant lead during the first day of the event in their Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, the crew faced pressure as their advantage narrowed on the second day. Rzeźnik ultimately won the final stage to clinch the championship. His season included a victory at Rajd Świdnicki, which shifted his focus toward the title race.
Rzeźnik will conclude his 2026 season at the Rajd Barbórka in Warsaw this December. Looking ahead to 2027, the team is considering participation in the European Rally Championship (ERC) and returning to the Rajd Rzeszowski, though final plans remain dependent on budget and scheduling.
