Adriana Costantini closes two stores in La Plata amid textile industry crisis

The women's clothing brand Adriana Costantini has announced the permanent closure of its two locations in La Plata and City Bell after 14 years of operation. The brand is currently holding a liquidation sale to clear remaining stock.

The closure occurs amid a broader crisis in the Argentine textile industry. According to the Federation of Argentine Textile Industries (FITA), textile production fell by 25.6% in May compared to the previous year, a decline significantly steeper than the general industrial production index. This downturn is characterized by falling sales, rising costs, factory closures, and job losses across the productive chain.
