Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima has maintained a prominent career in the fashion industry, most notably as a Victoria's Secret Angel. After debuting in the brand's fashion show in 1999 and becoming an official Angel in 2000, she walked the runway 20 times. At the peak of her career, she was ranked as the second highest-paid supermodel in the world, trailing only Gisele Bündchen.
