Diamond League: Angelina Topić and Adriana Vilagoš finish fourth in Brussels

At the Diamond League final in Brussels, Serbian high jumper Angelina Topić secured fourth place. After successfully clearing heights of 1.84, 1.88, and 1.92 meters, she cleared 1.95 meters on her third attempt. A tactical decision to skip 1.97 meters and attempt 1.99 meters resulted in three failed attempts, leaving her behind winner Elenor Paterson, runner-up Yaroslava Mahuchikh, and third-place finisher Nikola Olislagers.

In the javelin throw, Serbian athlete Adriana Vilagoš also finished fourth with a throw of 62.22 meters. She finished behind winner Jan Ziji of China, who set a meeting record with 68.42 meters, Haruka Kitaguchi of Japan, and Flor Denis Ruiz Hurtado of Colombia.

In Slovenia, record-holder Tina Šutej performed strongly in the high jump, clearing 4.70 meters on her first attempt. Meanwhile, Matic Ian Guček finished seventh in the 400-meter hurdles.
