Adriano Panatta promotes athlete health and youth tennis
Former tennis champion Adriano Panatta is promoting sports as a tool for social cohesion and well-being through initiatives like the “Un Campione in Famiglia” tour in Verona. During recent events, Panatta also addressed concerns regarding professional tennis scheduling, specifically the practice of playing late-night matches. He advocated for prioritizing athlete health, supporting calls to revise tournament calendars to prevent physical exhaustion.
Additionally, the Adriano Panatta Racquet Club in Treviso will host the national finals of the Italian Under 14 female team tennis championships from September 18 to 20. This event marks the first time Treviso has hosted a national competition of this level for youth tennis. Eight teams, selected through provincial and regional stages across Italy, will compete for the national title at the club's facilities.
