Neum hotels near full ahead of July‑August peak, prices up 5‑10%

The tourist board of Neum reports that hotels are already well‑filled as the main summer season approaches, driven by organized arrivals from Western European countries such as France, Poland and Germany. Private accommodation is largely occupied by domestic visitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially for weekend stays.

Prices have risen between five and ten percent compared with the previous year, reflecting inflation, but the town remains one of the most affordable Adriatic destinations. Officials expect occupancy to approach 100 % in July and August, with a growing trend of last‑minute bookings.

A shortage of hospitality staff persists; most workers come from interior regions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with some establishments hiring temporary staff from Nepal and the Philippines to meet seasonal demand.
