Adriel Danan wins Mountain Mixer cocktail competition

Adriel Danan of Dos Olas Cantina won the second-annual Mountain Mixer cocktail competition held at Deer Valley Resort’s Silver Lake lawn. His winning cocktail, titled ‘Crimson Smoked’, earned him a $1,000 prize.

The event, hosted by the Park City Area Restaurant Association (PCARA), featured 10 finalists who competed in a live finale after 21 entries were anonymously judged by an expert panel throughout July. Chace Ciulla of Timbers Bar & Restaurant secured second place with a Cucumber & Jalapeño Gimlet, while Jordan Greiner of The Hirsch took third place with ‘40º North’.

The competition moved to an outdoor format this year to accommodate larger crowds. To meet attendee demand while adhering to Utah liquor laws, organizers contracted professional bar services to serve the finalists' concoctions to the audience.
