Two-time Oscar winner Adrien Brody was recently spotted using the New York City subway, maintaining a low profile in an all-black outfit and a baseball cap while traveling with a friend.

Brody, a native of Queens, has frequently credited his upbringing and his daily commutes to LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts as foundational to his acting career. He previously noted that observing the diverse range of people on the subway—from immigrants to businessmen—provided him with more practical training than formal schooling.

The actor recently completed a Broadway debut in ‘The Fear of 13’ at the James Earl Jones Theatre, where he portrayed Nick Yarris. He continues to divide his time between New York City and upstate New York.
