Adrien Fourmaux seeks to overcome past struggles at Rallye de Sardaigne

French rally driver Adrien Fourmaux enters the Rallye de Sardaigne with the goal of overcoming a history of poor results in the event. Despite being one of the few drivers capable of competing with Toyota in recent stages, Fourmaux has faced consistent setbacks in Sardinia, ranging from driving errors to mechanical failures.

This year’s event, held in October, may present different challenges due to potential rain and the effects of road sweeping on early competitors. Fourmaux noted that while the terrain remains demanding for both drivers and vehicles, the change in timing could alter the conditions compared to previous summer editions.

Driving the Hyundai i20N Rally1, Fourmaux aims to conclude the season on a high note, as this event marks the final round of the championship and the last rally for the current generation of Rally1 cars.
