AC Milan supports fan boycott over high away ticket prices

AC Milan has officially expressed support for its supporters, specifically the Curva Sud group, who are planning to boycott the upcoming Serie A match against Udinese. The protest is driven by the €65 price tag for away tickets, which fans argue is an excessive financial burden and an unfair exploitation of traveling supporters.

The club released a statement describing the pricing as a threat to the unity of the league, noting that high costs can deepen divisions between clubs and hinder the global appeal of Italian football. Milan has called on Lega Serie A to implement a league-wide cap on away ticket prices, citing the Premier League model where prices are significantly lower.

Furthermore, AC Milan proposed a reciprocal policy: clubs that charge above-average prices to Milan supporters could face increased ticket costs when their teams visit San Siro. Any additional revenue generated from such measures would be allocated to Fondazione Milan to support charitable initiatives.
