ADT de Tarma pursues Uruguayan defender Joaquín Pereyra, weighs Jhair Soto's transfer
Peruvian Primera División side ADT de Tarma is looking to reinforce its squad for the remainder of the Torneo Clausura. The club has identified Uruguayan centre‑back Joaquín Pereyra, who left Danubio, as a potential signing. Pereyra, who can also play right‑back and midfield, appeared in 14 league matches for Danubio this season, scoring once, receiving two yellow cards and totalling 988 minutes, and has previously played for clubs in Uruguay, Mexico, Chile and the United States.
ADT also disclosed its stance on defender Jhair Soto, who is sidelined by injury and will not feature in the upcoming fixture against Sport Boys. Soto is expected to travel to Tarma for training, and his future remains uncertain as Alianza Lima and other Peruvian clubs have expressed interest. ADT continues negotiations, but no agreement has been reached yet.
