AdVAC Brasil holds second advanced vaccinology training course

The second edition of the Advanced Course on Vaccinology (AdVAC Brasil) was held from August 9 to 15 in Pirenópolis, Goiás. The intensive 48-hour in-person program gathered approximately 100 participants, including professors, guest speakers, and technical professionals from across the vaccinology chain.

Coordinated by the Center of Excellence in Health Technology and Innovation (Ceti-Saúde) at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), the initiative included participation from the Brazilian Ministry of Health and various national and international specialists. The program aims to strengthen Brazil's immunization policies by providing high-level technical training in areas such as immunology, vaccine development, and clinical trials.

AdVAC Brasil serves as the national version of the internationally recognized Advanced Course on Vaccinology, which is held annually in France. The course seeks to bridge the gap between the public and private sectors, academia, and vaccine production institutions.
