Advance Auto Parts expands same‑day delivery with market hub strategy

Advance Auto Parts has accelerated its same‑day delivery service by leveraging a network of market hubs that sit between its distribution centers and retail stores. Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Ron Gilbert says the hubs hold 75,000‑85,000 SKUs and serve a radius of 60‑90 stores, allowing the retailer to reduce average delivery times for professional customers from more than 50 minutes at the start of 2025 to under 40 minutes by year‑end.

Gilbert notes that stores now act as the primary fulfillment points for customers, supported by the hubs and distribution centers, delivering parts within a predictable window that meets operational needs. The retailer is ranked No. 90 in the Top 1000 Database of North America’s largest online retailers and leads the automotive parts category.

Separately, many Advance Auto Parts locations open early, typically at 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM seven days a week, though exact hours can vary by store, day of the week and holidays.
