Advance Metals reports high-grade silver hits in Mexico

Advance Metals has reported significant high-grade silver results at its Gavilanes silver project in Durango, Mexico. The company’s fourth consecutive diamond drill hole extended the known mineralised system by 55 metres to the south.

Key findings from the latest drilling include a 13.2m intersection grading 311 grams per tonne (g/t) of silver, which contains a high-grade 6m core of 612g/t silver. Additional deeper sections also showed silver grades of 199g/t and 367g/t.

The Gavilanes project is situated in the Sierra Madre Occidental silver belt, approximately 23 kilometres from First Majestic Silver’s San Dimas mine. Beyond silver, the project shows polymetallic potential, with previous drilling indicating the presence of copper and gold at depth.
