Advanced Engineering 2026 unveils 18 industry innovations

The Advanced Engineering 2026 event has announced its Innovation Gallery, featuring 18 technological developments designed to address persistent manufacturing and engineering challenges. The showcase will take place at the NEC Birmingham on 4 and 5 November.

The selected technologies cover various sectors, including advanced materials, additive manufacturing, automation, digitalisation, sustainability, and precision engineering. A new feature for the event allows visitors to vote for the ‘Innovation of the Year’ via an official app.

Key themes include material efficiency and circular manufacturing. Notable entries include Additive Manufacturing Solutions, which is showcasing recycled titanium developments, and HyProMag, which is producing permanent magnets in the UK using recycled content to support electric motor technology.
