Advent cultural events scheduled in Rottenburg and Halle

Various Advent and Christmas-themed cultural events are scheduled in Germany.

The Diözesanmuseum Rottenburg is hosting a series of concerts titled ‘Kunst und Klang’ (Art and Sound) during the Advent weekends. The program includes choral music by the University of Rottenburg and Tübingen, baroque French pastoral music featuring instruments such as the musette de cour, theorbe, viola da gamba, and harpsichord, and Gregorian chants performed by the Schola Cantorum of the University of Tübingen.

In Halle, the Heidebad am Heidesee will host a ‘Wunschzettelstunde’ (wish list hour) on December 6, 2026. During this event, children can meet Santa Claus at the winter café to hand over their Christmas wish lists and take photos. The facility will also offer seasonal refreshments including punch, mulled wine, and waffles.
