Adventus Capital seeks first simplified issuance on BMV

Adventus Capital, a Multi-Purpose Financial Society (Sofom) linked to former Undersecretary of Finance Fernando Aportela Rodríguez, has submitted the first application to become a simplified issuer on the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV).

The company seeks to raise 560 million pesos through the issuance of long-term fiduciary stock certificates (CEFI+CB 26), priced at 100 pesos each. These certificates are backed by underlying assets, including copper rights. The public offering is scheduled for September 28, with registration on the exchange expected by October 1. Value Casa de Bolsa and Altor Casa de Bolsa will participate in the operation.

This move marks the practical implementation of a simplified registration regime created by a reform to the Securities Market Law in December 2023. The regime aims to provide smaller companies with more agile access to financing through reduced regulatory burdens. While the reform was passed nearly three years ago, the regulatory framework from the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) and subsequent exchange rule adjustments only recently allowed for formal applications.
