Adıyaman Mayor addresses reconstruction and local criticisms

Adıyaman Mayor Abdurrahman Tutdere met with municipal employees and union representatives to discuss working conditions and the ongoing reconstruction of the city following the devastating earthquakes. Tutdere emphasized the heavy institutional and physical toll the disaster took on the municipality and highlighted the vital role employees play in healing the city's wounds.

However, the local administration faces various criticisms. Asnuk has criticized the municipality's infrastructure management, alleging that unplanned and uncoordinated roadworks have made daily life difficult for citizens. Asnuk claimed there is a discrepancy between the municipality's positive social media portrayals and the actual state of the city's roads, which are described as being riddled with holes and constant excavations.

Additionally, Emircan Ahmet Alsan, the Adıyaman Provincial Chairman of the Anahtar Party, expressed strong opposition to reports of a condolence ceremony held for members of the HPG. Alsan stated that the use of symbols associated with the terrorist organization during such an event is unacceptable and that the public will not allow the normalization of such imagery.
