Adıyaman officials hold public security meetings with residents

The Adıyaman Governorate is conducting bi-weekly ‘Public and Security’ meetings to directly address the concerns, demands, and suggestions of local citizens. The second session of this initiative was held at the Fevzi Çakmak Anatolian High School Conference Hall, with residents from the Fatih, Yeşilyurt, Siteler, and Örenli neighborhoods in attendance.

Presided over by Governor Abdullah Küçük, the meeting included Mayor Abdurrahman Tutdere, Deputy Governor Efe Kılınç, Acting Provincial Police Chief Güray Aksüt, and various local officials. The session began with briefings from the Provincial Police Department regarding general public order and traffic conditions in the participating neighborhoods.

Discussions covered a wide range of topics, including public safety, education, health, infrastructure, environment, and social services. During the meeting, a resident from the Örenli neighborhood offered to donate private land for the construction of a condolence house (taziye evi), a proposal that was well-received by the attendees. Governor Küçük emphasized a management approach centered on listening to citizens to produce solutions through collective intelligence.
