Adıyaman to host International Poetry and Music Festival

The International Poetry and Music Festival is set to begin in Adıyaman on October 15. Organized through a collaboration between the Adıyaman Municipality and the Çukurova Literature Association, the three-day event will feature poetry readings, music performances, book stands, and book signing sessions.

Approximately 80 poets, writers, and artists from across Turkey and four other countries—Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Iraq, and the Netherlands—will participate. Events are scheduled to take place at the Adıyaman Sanko Teacher's House, the Abdulhamid Han Cultural Center, and Nemrut Mountain.

A highlight of the program includes a sunset event at Nemrut Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where artists will engage in photography sessions amidst the historical statues. Adıyaman Mayor Abdurrahman Tutdere stated that the festival aims to promote the city's historical and cultural values internationally and boost cultural tourism through the universal language of art.
