Adzopé youth receive payments following THIMO program completion
In Adzopé, Côte d'Ivoire, one hundred young participants of the High Intensity Labor (THIMO) program received checks of 120,000 FCFA each on March 9, 2026. The payments mark the conclusion of a six-month cycle dedicated to sanitation, cleaning, and urban beautification efforts within the commune.
The ceremony was attended by municipal representatives, including the 5th Deputy Mayor, and officials from the Abobo Service Platform (PFS) and the Agence Emploi Jeunes. Local authorities praised the participants for their commitment and noted that the program improves the living environment for residents while facilitating professional integration for youth. The THIMO program operates in six-month cycles, allowing for regular recruitment to provide ongoing opportunities for local youth.
