AE L Novibet appoints new technical and general directors

Greek Super League 2 club AEL Novibet announced the hiring of former player and experienced administrator Makis Belebonis as technical director. Belebonis, who played for Panetolikos, Kalamata and OFI before moving into management roles at Panetolikos from 2013‑2026, will oversee roster planning and overall team organization for the upcoming season.

The club also named former international defender Sotiris Kyrgiakos as general director. Kyrgiakos, after a playing career with numerous clubs abroad and in Greece, will manage the club’s operations following its recent relegation to Super League 2. Both appointments are part of AEL’s effort to strengthen its staff ahead of the new campaign.
