AEAMESP 32nd Metroferroviária Technology Week to feature rail innovation awards

The 32nd Metroferroviária Technology Week, organized by the Association of Metro Engineers and Architects (AEAMESP), will feature the 13th Technology & Development Metroferroviários Award. The award ceremony, a partnership between ANPTrilhos and TIC Trens, is scheduled for September 1st in São Paulo.

Fifty-five works were selected for the development stage, with five finalists announced across various categories. These include studies on Line 5-Lilás demand, railway corridor reactivation in São Paulo, interface management with cargo operators in the TIC North Axis, and structural metro axis proposals for the Eastern Zone of the São Paulo Metropolitan Region.

The Transport Memory Foundation (FuMTran) is participating as an institutional supporter. This partnership aims to integrate technical innovation with the preservation of Brazil's transport history and technical knowledge. The event brings together major industry players, including Metrô de São Paulo, CPTM, and ANTF.
