AEDAŞ invests 1.069 billion TL in Burdur energy infrastructure

AEDAŞ is undertaking a major energy infrastructure upgrade in Burdur, Turkey, with a total investment of 1 billion 69 million TL planned for 2026. The company is managing 26 projects aimed at modernizing electricity distribution in both urban centers and rural settlements.

As of August 1, 2026, approximately 46 percent of the planned investments have been completed. A significant portion of the budget—over 50 percent—is dedicated to rural areas to ensure reliable energy supply. The program includes 21 rural projects across districts such as Bucak, Çeltikçi, Yeşilova, Karamanlı, Gölhisar, and Çavdır. Currently, 6 of these rural projects are finished, while 15 remain in progress.

Urban projects include the installation of approximately 114 kilometers of underground cable infrastructure in the Atatürk neighborhood and LED lighting conversions in the Bahçelievler neighborhood. Other works involve increasing transformer capacity and upgrading medium-voltage/low-voltage networks.
