Aedas Homes completes 944 affordable rental units in Madrid region

Aedas Homes has received final construction certificates for 944 affordable rental apartments built under the Community of Madrid's Plan Vive. The units are spread across three municipalities: 400 in Aranjuez, 318 in Navalcarnero and 226 in Villalbilla. Rents are set 20 % to 40 % below market rates and are aimed at young adults, seniors, victims of gender‑based violence and people with reduced mobility. Delivery of the first keys is scheduled for early 2027.

The development, completed in 22 months using modern construction methods, is part of a wider public‑private scheme that targets 14 000 affordable homes during the current legislature. Over 6 400 units have already been delivered, with another 8 000 under construction or in the allocation phase.
