Aeg named top vacuum cleaner brand in consumer study

An investigation by Altroconsumo and Euroconsumers has identified the top vacuum cleaner brands for 2026, combining laboratory testing with consumer experience across Europe. The study notes that 92% of European consumers own at least one vacuum, with more than one in four households utilizing a robot vacuum.

In the corded vacuum category, Aeg secured the top position due to its balance of performance, reliability, and consumer satisfaction. Other leading brands include Rowenta, Miele, Bosch, Philips, and Hoover. While Miele stood out for high levels of owner satisfaction, Rowenta and Philips were noted for their reliability.
