AEGEAN appoints Michalis Kouveliotis as new CEO

AEGEAN has announced a leadership transition as Michalis Kouveliotis takes over as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He succeeds Dimitris Geroyannis, a founding member of the company who has served as CEO for the past 20 years.

Geroyannis will transition into a role as Management Consultant, where he will oversee the Technical Base and the Training Center, which are identified as new development directions for the Group. Kouveliotis previously served as the company's CFO and, since early 2025, held the position of Deputy CEO to facilitate this transition.

AEGEAN Chairman Eutychios Vassilakis praised Geroyannis for his role in shaping the company's culture of quality and meritocracy, noting that he will continue to support the company during the handover to the next generation of executives.
