Aegina hosts annual Fistiki Fest to celebrate pistachio harvest

The island of Aegina is hosting the Aegina Fistiki Fest from September 17 to September 20, celebrating the annual pistachio harvest. The event features a commercial and agricultural exhibition at the port, where producers offer various pistachio products, including fresh, sweet, and savory delicacies.

In addition to the food exhibition, the festival includes live musical performances. Featured artists include Polina, Kostas Bigalis, Sofia Vosou, Manto, Eleonora Zouganeli, and the Trashformers. Due to the event, accommodation on the island is expected to be fully booked, though the island remains accessible for day trips from Piraeus.
