AEHT Annual Dinner celebrates Tarragona hospitality sector

The 49th Annual Dinner of the Tarragona Hospitality Companies Association (AEHT) took place at Hotel Mas La Boella, marking one of the most attended editions in the federation's history with over 460 attendees. The event brought together hospitality professionals, sector companies, and institutional representatives to highlight the economic and social importance of the industry in the region.

Key recognitions included an honor for pastry chef Montse Abellà, who was named an Honorary Member of the AEHT Expert Council. In the culinary category, MRKT Gastrobar from Salou won first prize in the III Provincial Tapas, Pintxos, and Tastets Contest, earning the right to represent Tarragona at Madrid Fusión.

In the hotel sector, the Booking-AEHT 2026 awards were presented to recognize establishments with the highest customer ratings. The May Altafulla Beach Boutique Hotel secured first place for the second consecutive year, followed by Altafulla Mar Hotel in second place.
