AEK and OFI to clash in Superbet Super Cup final in Athens

The opening match of the Greek football season will be the Superbet Super Cup final between AEK and OFI, scheduled for Wednesday 12 August 2026 at 20:00 at the Pancretan Stadium in Athens. The contest, returning for a second consecutive year, pits the league champions AEK against the Greek Cup holders OFI for the first trophy of the campaign. The game will be televised on the new SPOR FM TV platform, which secured broadcasting rights for both the Super Cup and the Greek Cup.

The Super Cup was revived in January 2026 after an 18‑year hiatus, with Olympiacos winning the most recent edition. This year’s final offers AEK a chance to add a second Super Cup title to its record.
