AEK announces starting lineup for season opener against Iraklis

AEK has announced its starting lineup for the season opener against Iraklis at the Allwyn Arena. Manager Marko Nikolic has introduced several changes from the previous playoff squad, including the debut of Vitalis. The attacking duo will consist of Jovitic and Varga, while Strakosa starts in goal.

Iraklis, returning to the top division, will field a 3-5-1-1 formation under manager Walter Mazzari. The team features Athanasiadis in goal and a defensive trio of Vouros, Tsaklas, and Pinia. The midfield will be composed of Sourlis, Kaibue, and Kraidts, with Ivi Lopez in a more advanced role and Kosta as the lone striker.
