AEK Athens intensifies pursuit of Serbian left‑back Filip Kostic

Greek club AEK Athens has entered advanced negotiations to sign 33‑year‑old Serbian left‑back Filip Kostić. Dutch reports say the player, who is also being courted by Eredivisie champions Ajax, has paused his response to Ajax’s offer while AEK’s coach Marco Nicolits and Kostić’s close friend Luka Jović work to persuade him to join the Greek side.
