AEK Athens players discuss refereeing claims and Real Madrid clash

Former AEK Athens player Vasilis Dimitriadis has criticized media narratives following the team's match against Volo Elabet in the Stoiximan Super League. Dimitriadis claimed that certain media outlets are attempting to portray AEK as receiving preferential treatment from referees, a narrative he described as part of a “green clique” effort. He asserted that the team was actually wronged during the match.

In a separate discussion regarding AEK's upcoming fixture against Real Madrid, veteran striker Demis Nikolaidis emphasized the importance of performance and effort over the final score. Nikolaidis stated that he expects the team to play with courage and a positive mindset, noting that while winning is ideal, the primary goal is to present a performance that leaves the players satisfied.
