AEK Athens faces Asteras AKTOR in Super League 1 away match

AEK Athens prepares to face Asteras AKTOR in Tripoli for the fourth round of the Super League 1. Following a historic 1-0 victory against LASK in the Champions League, AEK aims to maintain momentum and secure a win to stay at the top of the league standings.

Coach Marko Nikolic is focused on addressing the team’s disparity between home and away performances. While AEK has been dominant at home in Nea Filadelfia, their away record has been less consistent. Nikolic emphasizes that the domestic league remains the primary priority for the club.

Asteras AKTOR enters the match seeking their first points of the season after three consecutive losses. Historically, AEK has maintained an unbeaten streak in their last ten visits to Tripoli, recording six wins and four draws. The match is expected to feature a strong AEK lineup, though rotation may be considered for upcoming cup fixtures.
