AEK faces Athens Kallithea in final pre‑season friendly

Athens Kallithea opened its pre‑season preparations with a 2‑0 win over Greece of Syros at the El Paso venue, goals coming from Juan Cantigo (penalty) and Konstantinos Provydakis.

The club’s next test is a friendly against AEK Athens on 8 August at the Allwyn Arena in New Philadelphia. AEK coach Marco Nikolic will use the match to experiment with his line‑up ahead of the Super Cup against OFI on 12 August and the Champions League play‑off tie with the Levski Sofia winner on 18‑19 August. Expected starters include youngsters Christos Alexiou and Dimitris Kaloskamis, while new signing Milan Vitallis is also set to feature. Fans will be admitted free, with VIP access limited to season‑ticket holders at gates 31‑33.
