AEK FC supporter Kaiti Damianidi featured on club media

AEK TV has featured Kaiti Damianidi, a lifelong supporter of AEK FC, following comments made by Marko Nikolic regarding her dedicated presence at team matches. Nikolic had previously described a grandmotherly figure who waits by the team bus in her apron, sometimes holding a scarf or even smoke sticks, to offer support.

Damianidi, who is of refugee descent and a native of the Nea Filadelfeia neighborhood, spoke to the club's media outlet about her deep connection to the team. She discussed her family's yellow-and-black traditions, memories of the club's former stadium, and her emotional bond with the club, which she described as a religion for refugees.
