AEK eyes lineup overhaul for decisive Conference League second leg versus Beitar Jerusalem

Greek club AEK Athens, coached by Italian manager Maurizio Kamoranaz, is planning significant changes for the away leg against Israeli side Beitar Jerusalem. The Dutch centre‑back’s injury has opened a competition among defenders Samprort, Ekpolo and Adoni, while Kamoranaz also considers tweaks in midfield and attack to boost intensity and ball circulation.

Goalkeeper Muftit, signed as a replacement for Alomerovic, was deemed not ready for the crucial match, prompting the reinstatement of backup Andreas Paraskevas, who was partly blamed for a conceded goal in the first leg. Cypriot defender Petros Ioannou has also been cleared to train and is again available for selection.
