AEK to hold pre‑season training camp in Netherlands with series of friendlies
Greek club AEK will travel to Apeldoorn, the Netherlands, for its main pre‑season preparation stage, split into two periods in July and early August and lasting about 13 days. The camp includes intensive training sessions and a schedule of friendly matches.
Key fixtures announced are a closed‑door game against Sint Truiden on 2 August, as well as earlier friendlies versus Helmond (4 July), PAOK (7 July), Agiax (10 July) and Apollo (16 July). Additional matches slated include De Graafschap (12 July), Zwolle (26 July) and Samsunspor (29 July), with a possible encounter with Chroninchen still to be confirmed. The squad has eight new signings ready to take part.
The team completed a double training session before departure and is now on a rest day. Ticket sales for the 2026‑27 season will begin tomorrow at the AEK Store and online.
