AEL FC Arena to host AO Trikala vs. AEL Cup match

The Greek Cup match between AO Trikala and AEL FC will be held at the AEL FC Arena in Larissa instead of Trikala's municipal stadium. This decision follows the failure of the Trikala stadium to secure an operating license for the match.

AEL FC owner Zisis Stylianos reportedly covered the necessary costs to secure the use of the AEL FC Arena, resolving the impasse. While the match will be played in Larissa, AO Trikala will act as the home team, a solution that benefits both clubs; Trikala will receive the gate receipts, and AEL will play in its own venue.

The match is scheduled for Tuesday at 17:00. General admission tickets are priced at 15 euros, and the officiating team will be led by referee Giorgos Tasiopoulos.
