AEL signs midfielder Giorgos Konstantakopoulos

AEL has announced the signing of 21-year-old midfielder Giorgos Konstantakopoulos. The player joins the club on a contract that runs until the end of the current season.

Konstantakopoulos developed through the Panionios academies before spending five years at Kifisia between 2021 and 2026. During his tenure at Kifisia, he made 22 appearances, including 10 matches in the Super League during the 2023-24 season where he recorded one goal and two assists. He also had a loan spell with AEK B.

Most recently, Konstantakopoulos signed with Iraklis, but the partnership was short-lived, leading to his move to AEL.
