Aena appoints Francisco Hernández Amorós to lead Alicante-Elche Airport

Aena has appointed Francisco Hernández Amorós as the new director of the Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández Airport, effective November 1. He succeeds Laura Navarro, who will transition to the role of Director of Organization and People at Aena.

Hernández Amorós, an aeronautical engineer with extensive experience at Aena since 2005, previously managed the Engineering and Maintenance Division and the Projects and Works Section. The leadership change occurs as the airport continues to expand, having recorded 20 million passengers, 126,000 operations, and 228 routes in 2025.
