Aena to auction abandoned Piper plane at Seville Airport for €10

Spain’s airport and air‑navigation manager Aena announced a public auction for a Piper PA‑23 Apache that has been legally declared abandoned at Seville Airport. The aircraft has remained at the airport since at least 2018 after the owner could not be contacted, prompting three notices in the Official State Gazette.

Bids start at €10 with an additional €0.50 deposit, and any individual, company or institution may submit a proposal according to the tender terms. The deadline and opening date will be set later and announced by Aena. The plane is in poor condition and cannot fly, but the auction has attracted significant public interest, with many inquiries received since the notice was issued.
