Aeon expands in Fukuoka with new Inkiube specialty shop and The Big hypermarket

Aeon’s subsidiary Inkiube opened its 20th nationwide store, Inkiube Aeon Mall Fukuoka Ito, on 18 September 2026. The 601 m² shop, located on the mall’s second floor, offers around 20,000 items including cosmetics, health goods, stationery, and household accessories, targeting local residents, students and new‑family households. It is the 11th Inkiube outlet in Fukuoka prefecture.

On 28 July 2026, Aeon Kyushu launched a new retail model by opening “The Big Fukuoka East” as a core store within Aeon Fukuoka East Shopping Center. The facility combines a general‑merchandise supermarket with discount‑store elements and specialty‑shop concepts, marking a shift in Aeon’s format strategy for the Kyushu region.
