Aeon Kyushu launches Red Cup Campaign to support global school meals
Aeon Kyushu is conducting its sixth annual ‘Red Cup Campaign’ throughout October to coincide with World Food Day. The initiative, which spans 37 Aeon and MaxValu stores across seven prefectures in the Kyushu region, aims to support the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) Association in its mission to achieve ‘Zero Hunger’.
A portion of sales from participating products will be donated to support school meal programs globally. This year, the campaign features a record 17 participating companies, including Nissin Foods, Lotte, House Foods, and Kanro. The program seeks to provide children with nutrition and educational opportunities to improve long-term development and household stability.
In addition to product displays, several stores in Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Oita, Miyazaki, and Kagoshima hosted tasting events throughout the month to raise awareness for the cause.
