Aeon Naha Store Launches 'Nobikko Jumbo' Kids Playground with Ten Large Attractions

Aeon’s Naha‑Nanpuhara branch opened a new indoor play area called “Nobikko Jumbo” on July 24, 2026. The facility occupies the second floor of the shopping centre and features ten large‑scale play equipment, including a ball‑filled pool, a dome where balloons float, a foot‑pushed circuit, and other attractions designed for children up to elementary school age. The playground is offered at a low price point to encourage family visits. The opening was promoted with video footage of the new attractions and aims to boost foot traffic to the store.

The development reflects Aeon’s strategy of adding experience‑based services to its retail locations in Japan, targeting younger consumers and positioning the store as a community destination.
