Aero Club d'Italia joins #VareseDoYouFly aviation project

The Aero Club d'Italia (AeCI) has officially joined the ‘#VareseDoYouFly’ project, providing its patronage to an initiative aimed at establishing the province of Varese as an Italian aviation hub. The partnership was formalized during the Annual Gliding Flight Meeting held at the Aero Club Adele Orsi in Calcinate del Pesce.

Promoted by the Varese Chamber of Commerce and the Varese Welcome Foundation, the project seeks to integrate the aerospace industry, flight schools, aero clubs, and aviation-related tourism into a single coordinated ecosystem. This follows previous regional models focused on lakes and cycling.

A major milestone of this collaboration will be the first ‘Festa del Volo’ (Flight Festival), scheduled to take place in Varese in September 2027. The event is expected to feature demonstrations and activities designed to engage families and enthusiasts while promoting aviation culture among younger generations.
