Aero Club Milano 1926 to celebrate centennial at Bresso Airport

The Aero Club Milano 1926 will celebrate its centennial on September 12 and 13, 2026, at the Bresso Airport (Franco Bordoni Bisleri). Founded on September 13, 1926, the club is one of Italy’s oldest aeronautical organizations.

To mark the milestone, the airport will open to the public for a weekend of aviation-themed activities. The program includes air shows, aircraft displays, flight simulators, drone demonstrations, hangar tours, and meetings with pilots. The event is expected to attract over 5,000 attendees and features participation from brands such as Red Bull, Hamilton, and Eni.

The celebration highlights the deep aeronautical heritage of the Lombardy region, specifically connecting the Milanese aviation scene with the nearby Varese province, a significant hub for Italy’s aerospace industry.
